Development and Identification of Project Goals
|
|
Defining the Project Scope
|
|
|
A successful project begins with a set of well thought out goals. Meeting with project leads, network and
website administrators, and user and management representatives we can assist you in indentifying these goals.
We may even be able help you to identify project potentials that you may not have realized.
After creating and documenting a set of project goals, we can assist you in ranking these goals by costs and benefits and
in selecting the final set of goals to be implemented.
|
|
Understanding what is outside of the scope of the project can be as important to the perceived success of the project as
the actual resources delivered by it.
Meeting with project leads, network and website administrators, and user and management representatives we can assist you
in explaining and documenting the scope of the data publishing project to all involved parties.
This process can also provide you with valuable validation of the goal selection process.

Review Current Skillset and Identify Required Improvements |
|
|
Meeting with project leads and network and website administrators we can assist you in
reviewing, and if necessary documenting the current network infrastructure that will support the data publishing
system.
We will then assist you in identifying performance bottlenecks, single points of failure and security deficiencies that
will need to be upgraded and finally, we can assist you in selecting any new hardware and software required by the data
publishing system.
|
|
Meet with project leads and network/website administrators to review the current skillset possessed by the designated
project, network and website administrators that will support the data publishing system.
Identify currently missing skills that will need to be acquired in order to support the data publishing project.

A data publishing system is a complicated system requiring multiple servers and network components working together to
accomplish its goal. Based on the requirements identified during the Needs Analysis process, Syteview's team
of professionals will work with you to design a system architecture that will balance the competing interests of cost,
performance, security, accessibility, data distribution, scalability and ease of maintenance. Working with us
you will be able to draw on our years of experience in publishing and protecting data to assure that you understand
these conflicting interests and end up with a proper balance between them.
After settling on a design our team of professionals is available to help you test your system design under varying loads
and operating conditions. Either in our facilities, onsite at your location, or remotely online we have the
tools, equipment and skills to assist you in this process, assuring you that your design performs as expected.

|
After helping you to identify the requirements of your data publishing system and then designing and testing a system to
meet them we are available to work with your project leads to create and document an implementation plan. If
further assistance is required we are able to configure and test your system in our facility, or assist you on-site with
the installation process.

In addition to the information provided by Syteview's online documentation, you may find it necessary to provide
additional training for your end users and support staff to maximize the use of your new system. Our team
of professionals is available to provide classroom or individual personalized training
at your location.

Starting from the initial design stage, and carrying through the implementation and training we make the security of your
data publishing system our first priority. As a final step in the design and installation process we highly
recommend an on-site security review by one of our skilled security professionals.
